So, Is Green Tea a Fat Burner? Does it help with Weight Loss? Green tea helps in weight loss by raising your metabolism rate, Green tea contains a high amount of catechins—antioxidants and caffeine which leads to burning more calories as compared to normal.
But this is a half-truth, before you are convinced to drink green tea for weight loss, you have to know some of the things which may change your results. Green tea helps in weight loss but the impact is minimal, taking heavy doses will suffer you a lot because of the caffeine in it.

Also, avoid high doses of green tea because it affects your stomach and liver in a negative way. Green tea is also addictive if you are consuming it in the long run, So it is better to take gaps of one to two months to stay in a safe line.
What Is The Most Effective Time of Day To Drink Green Tea?
You have also noticed that people are drinking green tea in the morning and say drinking green tea with an empty stomach gives you health benefits but the reality is different, it gives you the opposite, health issues because of the caffeine in it, leads to digestive issues in the stomach.
So, What is the most effective time of day to drink green tea? The best time to drink green tea is 9 am to 11 am and in the evening from 2 pm to 3 pm. Avoid drinking early in the morning and drinking late at night also, disturbs your sleep cycle because of the caffeine in it.
It is better to drink between meals, before 30 minutes of a meal it helps the stomach to digest food easily. Also, if you are exercising, drink a cup of green tea before 30 minutes of exercise work as a pre-workout meal and feel energized during exercise.
In the long run try to gap between one to two months of not drinking green tea because it is addictive because green tea is of the drinks which contain caffeine in it, so drink in a limit to stay on the safe side.
